Several media houses have quoted an amount of money suggesting that dancehall act, Shatta Wale pocketed it from the Zylofon Media deal which happened on Wednesday, January 31 this year.
These amounts according to them are the exact cash Zylofon Media gave to Shatta Wale for the three-year deal. Whilst some said it is a million dollar deal, others announced to the world that it is either $1.5m or $3m but Zylofon Media has rubbished all.
Head of Communications at the entertainment firm in a chat on Peace FM Thursday evening and monitored by Zoinfelix.net said all the amount certain media houses have put out should not be taken by the public because none of them have been given the cash involved in the deal. According to him, the said quotes ($1m, $1.5m and $3m) are just the imagination by the media houses but not the official statement from the ‘Freedom’ hitmaker or Zylofon Media.
According to him, his outfit has not communicated the amount it gave to Charles Nii Armah since the contract both parties signed does not allow any of the parties to communicate it to the public.
“We have not informed any media house the cash involved in the deal. They are just assuming the cost involved looking at the the pedigree of Shatta Wale and the record label.
We both agreed not to disclose certain terms in the contract so for all those giving their quotes concerning the cash, they are the only people who can tell where they had their details from” Sammy Flex told Kwasi Aboagye.
Zionfelix witnesssed the signing and unveiling of Shatta Wale to join Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Joyce Blessing and Obibini on Zylofon Music on Wednesday, January 31 at the company’s headquarters located at East Legon, a suburb of Accra.
