Ghanaian film director cum producer Jones Agyemang, the director of the yet to be premiered movie “The Two Pilots” has described the movie as one that can fairly march some of the high budget American movies toe to toe.
According to him, the amount of work, energy, and money they invested into the movie is one that he has not seen on the local movie scene in a long while now.
He told Zionfelix when he, together with other cast of the movie appeared on Radio Universe’s ‘Brunch2Lunch’ show to promote the movie that because he didn’t want people to tag him as someone who was blowing his horns too much, he will just tell them to come out in their numbers, watch the movie and later be judges of whether or not his remarks were false or true.
“The 2 Pilots’’ which is receiving all this hype by director Jones Agyeman is set to be premiered at the National Theatre on Friday, April 26.
The ‘Two Pilots’ in the movie are Kwadwo Nkansah (Lilwin) and Kalybos, arguably the best two comic actors in the country, with Emelia Brobbey and Kwaku Manu also starring in the movie.
After the Accra premiere this Friday, producers of the movie, Royal Image Production, will also hold similar showings at the Ho Technical University on April 27, 2019, CCB Auditorium – KNUST in Kumasi on May 3, 2019, Watch & Dine Cinema in Kumasi on May 4, 2019, and Sunyani Technical University on May 10, 2019.
