Ghanaian highlife musician, Dada Hafco has challenged the organizers of 3Music Awards following the announcement of nominees for the 3rd edition.
The ‘Yebewu Nti’ composer believes the organizers erred in the categorization of some of the songs.
He made this known when speaking with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM which was monitored by zionfelix.net.
According to him, Fameye’s ‘Notin I Get’ song does not qualify to be nominated in the highlife category of the award scheme.
Dada Hafco also questioned why ‘Saara’ from Sarkodie and Efya was not nominated in the same category if the organizers think ‘Notin I Get’ qualifies for the highlife category.
He argued that Edem’s ‘Toto’ and ‘Saara’ sounds more highlife than Fameye’s ‘Notin I Get’ song which was placed at the highlife category at expense of these songs.
