The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for 3Music Awards, Obed Boafo has said the organizers are having series of meetings to decide on the fate of this year’s main event following the confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix on Radio Univers’ ‘Brunch2Lunch’ entertainment show, the 3Music PRO revealed they are yet to decide on their next level of action.
He stated that an official statement will be released within 24 to 48 hours to brief the public on whether the 2020 edition of the 3Music Awards will be postponed or not.
The 2020 edition of the 3Music Awards was expected to be held on March 28.
Ghana’s president, Nana Akufo Addo announced the ban on public gatherings after about six (6) cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the country.
Following this directive, the 3Music Awards PRO indicated that his outfit is a law-abiding institution so the public should wait for the official statement.

He added that whatever decision that they will take, they have to prioritize human life.
The organizers on Friday, March 13 postponed the 3Music Awards Fan Fest which was to be held at the Accra Polo Grounds on Saturday through a statement issued by the founder, Sadiq Abdulai Abu copied to Zionfelix.net.
