Peter Mensah, a 7-year-old boy who was knocked down by a vehicle at Offinso in the Ashanti Region has lost his legs and needs help.
Peter according to information available to Zionfelix.net has successfully undergone surgery but needs to pay his bills and that has become a problem for the family.
Madam Anita Sefa Boakye who has spent a lot on the young boy after the accident on July 12 this year is pleading with the public to come to the boy’s aid. According to her, she has paid almost half of the bills.
To her, the current residence of Peter Mensah is not good for his condition and that of his family hence her decision to solicit for funds to find a better place for them. Sefa Boakye revealed during an interview with Zionfelix.net Friday afternoon that her plan is also to find a job for the young boy’s grandmother, Esther Darkoaa to help her take care of the boy whose father is deceased.
Asked about the whereabouts of Mr. Mensah’s mother, Alice Fosuaa, Anita answered that the 25-year-old mum recently gave birth to her last born. She further stated that she wants to create a good environment for the boy and his family so that he does not become a burden on the family.
A vehicle knocked down Peter Mensah, who was six at the time of the accident and is now seven, on his way home, crushing his legs leading to a double amputation.
Mensah who has had multiple surgeries including the amputation, graft and plastic surgery has miraculously responded positively to treatment and is in good spirits.
