Ghanaian actor, Mikki Osei Berko, well known as Master Richard, has reiterated how poor many Ghanaian celebrities are.
The veteran actor in a recent interview with Eugene Nkansah on ‘Konkonsa’ which was monitored by Zionfelix.net lamented that 80 per cent of Ghanaian celebrities cannot afford decent healthcare.
He stressed that most celebrities in the country are paupers.
“I am not a rich man and I served in an industry for 26years and there shouldn’t be a point that I won’t have money to buy fuel for my car…it does happen,” he sadly revealed.
When he was asked if Ghanaian celebrities are poor, he also questioned where they are getting the money from and what they did to earn them money.
His comment confirms the many sentiments shared by other industry players that the entertainment industry in Ghana is not lucrative.
