Just before Stonebwoy could think about releasing the track, his longtime rival and friend Shatta Wale dropped his hit song 1 Don which has got the streets jamming for weeks now.
Following the release of 1 Don, Stonebwoy has been met with accusations of trying to stay relevant by recording 1GAD just because Shataa Wale’s 1 Don was making waves.
Known for having his own distinct way of responding to critics without saying much, Stonebwoy has fired back at his critics in a video sighted by zionfelix.net.
The “Activate” singer revealed that he recorded 1GAD a year ago precisely in January 2020. He even points to a witness, Streetbeatgh who can corroborate his story, sending a clear indication that claims that he recorded 1GAD because of 1 Don are untrue.
