Popular YFM presenter, Erskine Amo Whyte. popularly called Rev Erskine has offered some word of advice to his colleague presenters and radio show hosts in the wake of the brouhaha between Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty and rapper Okesse 1 this morning.
In a tweet he shared on his timeline early on today, Rev Erskine told his colleagues that being mean and tough on their guests when they come on their shows does not in any way make them the best at what they do.
He added that his colleagues who do this will continually look stupid before they decide to retire because, in his view, that is not the best thing to do.
In very few words, he summarized his post saying: “Don’t be harsh, be smart, ask right! They’re people too”

As it stands, it is not really clear who this message from Rev Erskine is directed to because it looks very general.
However, the timing of the release of the message and the time Andy Dosty and Okesse’s 1 issues came up in the media space suggests that this might be an indirect jab at his colleague.
