Music group, Gallaxy is no more with their management, Lyf Line Entertainment owned by the rich twins called Cross Dhat and Freddy Celso, the record label which signed them after they said goodbye to Habour City Recordz in 2017.
The two agreed to work together with smiles but they are ending their business relationship with insults, humiliations, and disgrace. Cross Dhat, one of the owners of Lyf Line Entertainment in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM in Accra has described his former artistes as ungrateful, cheap, greedy, liars and lazy musicians.
He also accused Bra Chicky and Kwasi Dave, the group members of squandering money meant for pushing their brand.
“If you give them money for promotion, they will take, spend it and will tell us they have gone for promotion. The radio presenters will later come to us requesting for something whilst we have given cash to Gallaxy for that purpose. We had several calls of that nature and we got to know that they have been spending the money we have given to them for promotion and stuffs.” Zionfelix.net monitoring the conversation heard Atsu telling Sammy Flex.
The peeved bankroller during the conversation on Thursday morning also disclosed that the two members of the group begged them, owners of the record label to help their career after they said goodbye to their former label, Harbour City Recordz owned by Gideon Narh.
Cross Dhat further disclosed that they initially did not want to invest in the group but later acceded to work with them. To him, both sides had a verbal contract and were willing to sign a five-year deal until the ‘Prayer’ hitmakers started misbehaving.
The half of the twins who own the company continued that Gallaxy performed at shows without their consent. Cross Dhat real name Collins Atsu when asked the amount they pushed into the boys answered that more than Gh30,000 but the musicians called him a liar.
In a text sent after the phone interview to explain the Gh30,000 they invested in the group during the three-month working relationship, the twin brothers announced to the public that Gh8,000 was spent on the group’s video for ‘Prayer’ song, Gh6000 for promotion and Gh2000 for online promotion.
Mr. Atsu later stressed that the record label which has been in existence for two years drove the group to Togo to buy costumes for them to push their brand. When questioned why they did not fly the two to Dubai for the shopping, the angry man replied that they are cheap musicians so there was no need in spending such a huge amount on them for the Dubai trip just to buy clothes.
