Ghanaian vocalist and afro-fusion singer Jackie Acheampong better known by her stage name Gyakie has paid respect to all female artistes that came before her.

The upcoming singer believes how far she and other upcoming artistes have come cannot be credited to their personal hardwork alone but also the strides made by Efya and others before them.

The singer who recently celebrated her “Seed EP” getting 7 Million streams took to her Twitter handle to show gratitude to her forebears.

Gyakie called on all artistes in the industry to let love lead. She also asked fans and all music lovers to focus on supporting their work and Ghana as a whole.
