President Akufo-Addo has announced the measures being put in place to ensure the eventual re-opening of cinemas, theatres and nightclubs in the country.
These entertainment avenues were closed following the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Industry players anticipated the re-opening when the news about the President’s latest address was announced.

Disappointedly, President Akufo-Addo in his address Zionfelix.net monitored said cinemas, theatres and nightclubs remain closed.
According to him, the Government has engaged cinema owners and operators on a set of protocols and guidelines that need to be put in place and implemented by all operators before eventual re-opening.
“In the coming weeks, the Ghana Health Service and the Ghana Tourism Authority will be announcing these protocols and mandatory modalities, and work with the operators on a set of directives that will ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff of all the facilities involved,” he said.
