Legendary Highlife musician Nana Ampadu will receive a state burial.
The news was confirmed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin.
He said the state will help the family to give the renowned musician a befitting burial. He made the announcement at a press briefing earlier today.

Eugene Arhim said the decision was taken to honour the life of the musician for his contributions to the music industry.
Further details about the funeral will be communicated to the public once the government meets the family of the deceased.
The renowned singer passed on on September 28, 2021, after a short illness.
