Veteran musician, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, has thrown a shade at Shatta Wale and others.
He questioned why they are calling themselves dancehall kings.
Mr Ambolley said in an interview monitored by Zionfelix.net that dancehall originated from Jamaica.
Since it didn’t originate from Ghana—he doesn’t see the need for Shatta Wale and others to call themselves dancehall kings.

He argued in his interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM that these musicians are copying from Jamaicans so they do not deserve such a title.
Gyedu-Blay Ambolley was also worried over how radio stations are supporting them.
