Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has reacted to the passage of E-Levy.
The controversial Electronic Transaction bill was passed in parliament on Tuesday after the third reading.
The minority even walked out before its passage.
In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Lydia Forson said she will be the first person to admit she was wrong if E-Levy transforms this country.
She wrote on Twitter: “If this #elevy really does transform this country the way they say it will; I will be first in line to admit I was wrong, until then….”
She also mentioned what would have made her appreciate the E-Levy more.
“If the #elevy was framed like the Agaciro Development Fund; a fund citizens contribute to in Rwanda, to help make the country less dependent on foreign aid(which I learnt about on one of my trips there) I would have appreciated it more because I actually loved the idea.”
