Renowned Ghanaian music producer, Appietus and Papi of music group Five5 fame got engaged in a fiery exchange on CTV’s entertainment show, which aired on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
The two individuals used some unprintable words against each other when they spoke about the recent revelation by Appietus that he has uploaded some songs he has produced, including those of Five5 on some music stores.
While Appietus revealed that he did so because, at the time he recorded for Five5, they never paid him a dime, Papi, also indicated that Appietus had no right to upload their intellectual property without their consent because they had a barter agreement with him when they recorded at his studio back in the days.
Amid the exchange of words on the show which Sammy Flex hosts, Appietus revealed that he was going to sue Papi because he had publicly called him a thief.
