Popular Ghanaian Youtuber, Wode Maya, has disclosed how he had to fight with some officers stationed on the Togo border after he refused to pay a bribe they demanded.
In the post he made on his social media handles, Wode Maya revealed that these officers requested that he pays a bribe of CFA 2000 before they would stamp his passport for him to make his way into the French-speaking country.
According to him, he found this absurd and unlawful so he decided he was not going to pay — a decision the officers were also not going to accept.
Wode Maya added that these officers tried to seize his camera just because ge refused to pay the money the requested and it ensued in a scaffule between himself and the officers because he was not determined to walk away with his camera.
