Award-winning Ghanaian rapper who performs under the controversial stage name Yaa Pono has argued that aiming to win a Grammy as a Ghanaian musician is stupidity.
According to Yaa Pono, our local musicians should forget about winning Grammys and continue their good works.

In a tweet Saturday, April 29th, he wrote in a mixture of English and the Twi dialect;
“Grammy aimers, nkwasia thinking nkoaa,” to wit, “Grammy aimers, stupid thinking only.”

Some social media users have alleged that Yaa Pono’s tweet is a jab at Stonebwoy because his 5th Dimension album is set to be a Grammy contender.
