According to him, his recent song with Fameye titled ‘Koom’ has been a turning point in his career for which reason he feels the time is ripe for him to charge not less than Ghc20,000 for shows he plays.
Frank Naro cited a recent incident that happened with his colleague, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin as proof of the fact that people also feel he deserves the said amount or even more.
The ‘Abena’ singer revealed that he was with Lilwin when someone called both of them for a show that very day and because the time was quite impromptu, they both charged huge sums of money which is above the Ghc20K he mentioned but the person paid.
Frank went further to cite another incident when one of the rich and respected personalities in Ghana called him to come and sing his recent single, ‘Koom’ at the birthday party of his wife because the woman insisted that he must be there.
He disclosed that because the occasion was too close, he mentioned a huge amount of money but the man paid without blinking an eye because he felt it was deserving.
In as much as Frank Naro insisted that his current rate card is not less than Ghc20K, some relationships may see him reduce the amount.
