The cancellation of Europe shows by some top Ghanaian artistes got people wondering.
A few days ago, Ghana’s top rapper, Sarkodie announced the cancellation of his JAMZ tour in the UK and Europe.
Gyakie also cancelled her shows in the UK and Paris, citing ill health as the reason.
But speaking in a Twitter space with Joy Entertainment’s Kwame Dadzie, monitored by Zionfelix.net, UK-based event and music promoter, Alordia, pointed out the reason why these shows are cancelled.
According to him, the UK and Europe shows by Sarkodie, Gyakie and other Ghanaian artistes are cancelled because of low ticket sales.

He asserted that promoters who are organizing these tours for the Ghanaian artistes are foreigners—and they do not know the Ghanaian community which is the right audience to be targeted.
Alordia said Live Nation and others have the money but they do not have the numbers.
He advised Ghanaian artistes to involve them when signing an agreement with these organizers.
