Social media recently went agog when some reports emerged that Sweden Sports Federation had accepted s3x as a form of sport.
The reports started when Times of India, shared a story on their website with the headline: “Sweden Will Soon Host the European Sex Championship.”
The details of the report claimed that Sweden has officially recognized s3x as a sport and, to determine who’s best at it.
They added that the country was gearing up to host a tournament in which contestants would engage in daily encounters lasting up to six hours.
The competition, from the report, was scheduled to begin on June 8 in the city of Gothenburg.

Soon after the report of the Times of India, some other media outlets like Pakistani which is a Greek Portal, South African media house IOL, and a Nigerian website also published similar stories which somehow gave the reportage some authenticity.
Amid the speculation and the numerous reactions on social media, the Sweden Sports Federation has come out to deny the existence of any such event.
The spokesperson for the Swedish Sports Confederation, Anna Setzman in a statement given to dw.com and cited by zionfelix.net stated: “All this information is false…right now, false information is being spread in some international media about Sweden and Swedish sports,”
She further stressed: “These are vigorously denied.”
