Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, the CEO of the Ghanaian automobile company, Kantanka Automobile, has come out to clear the air on accusations that their company failed to give the team who recently went on the historic journey to London by road an ear when they approached them to use their vehicles.
Netizens will recall that the team leader, Kwabena Peprah, shared their efforts to involve local brands in the venture.

On Facebook, he wrote that they had reached out to the company’s management, but received no acknowledgment whatsoever.
In a Facebook post, he wrote: “We flirted with almost every major car dealer in Ghana, and they all literally told us to fork off. Tsigliwigliadzi Kormetorkpor Ometahidior tried to bring in Kantanka so we promote “made” in Ghana, but the CEO wouldn’t even meet with us. We decided to go with whichever vehicles we had at the time, so we selected July 25, 2020, as the departure date.”

After the team finally arrived in the United Kingdom on Sunday, a lot of Ghanaian social media users began to call out the CEO of Kantanka Automobile for missing out on the opportunity.
Amid the backlash and name-calling, the CEO of Kantanka Group has come out to reveal he had no knowledge of the supposed contact the group tried to get with the company.
He indicated that he believes that their failure as a company to be part of their historic feat is a big lost to them.
He further threatened that the individuals who caused the break in communication with the company would be dealt with.
