Ghanaian UK-based musician Reggie Zippy broke many hearts on Thursday, August 17, 2023, when he took to his social media pages to announce that his marriage of fifteen years was over.
The “Virgin” hitmaker revealed that the marriage between himself and Edith Ward was annulled by the court on August 11, 2023.
Reggie asked his followers and fans to bear in mind that henceforth, when they see him walk and move with any new lady, they should bear in mind that she is neither his side-chick nor a mistress, but rather someone he is having fun with because he is a freeman.
He went on to also use a lot of offensive words, which included things like irresponsible, wicked, foolish, and abusive, to describe himself and suggest that they were the reasons why his wife had divorced him.

This above post, which is loaded with a lot of sarcasm, got many of his followers on social media and fans to sympathize with him and send out their love to him, as others prayed that he gets the healing he so much deserves at this difficult time.
As the solidarity messages continued to pour in, one netizen known as Fiifi Bright shared the post on his wall and wished the X Factor star well.
Soon after he shared the post, an anonymous person who claims to be close to Reggie Zippy and his former wife went into Fiifi’s DM to allegedly reveal why the marriage collapsed.

The person alleged that Reggie Zippy was playing the emotional trump card when he was to blame for the divorce.
According to this person, Reggie Zippy treated his wife badly by filing that he had mental health issues that made it impossible for him to work.
The unknown person added that Reggie Zippy was never responsible, as he had tried to sarcastically suggest in his post, because all along his wife has been the one who has been taking care of the family.

When Fiifi tried to tell this unknown person that Reggie was a megastar who had a lot of money, the latter told him the musician had blown the cash on unnecessary things.
The unknown person categorically added that Reggie Zippy was just trying to catch public sympathy because he is famous.
