On a somber Saturday, September 23, 2023, a lot of respected figures from the political and entertainment spheres in Ghana came together to support Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as Kwame A Plus, at the funeral of his late father.
The funeral, held in Odoom, Gomoa Central Constituency, brought together individuals who have made significant contributions to Ghana in various ways.

Kwame A Plus, a well-known political activist, entertainment critic, and musician, recently faced the loss of his beloved father, who had been residing in the United States of America (US). His father, referred to as Dan, passed away after a brief illness, leaving a void in the hearts of his family.
The news of his father’s passing was met with an outpouring of condolences and support from Kwame A Plus’s admirers and well-wishers.
The loss was particularly hard on A Plus as he disclosed that he had spoken to his father just days before his passing. Their last conversation, which took place on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, was filled with discussions ranging from politics to the recent death of a cousin due to cancer.
In the wake of this profound loss, Ghana’s political and entertainment elite stood shoulder to shoulder with Kwame A Plus.

Among those present were notable figures such as a leading member of the ruling NPP and a seasoned politician, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Sammy Awuku, the Director General of the National Lottery Authority, Fadda Dickson, the CEO of Despite Media, and Kennedy Osei, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
Also, controversial counselor Lutterodt was present at the solemn ceremony to lend his support to Kwame A Plus during this difficult time.
