Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei, who is quite known for his affiliation with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has listed some reasons why he feel Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is a better candidate for president as against the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama.
During an interview on Accra FM’s mid-morning show with Nana Romeo, Prince David Osei revealed that his assertion was rooted in his belief that Dr. Bawumia possesses the qualities necessary to lead the nation to greater heights.
Highlighting Dr. Bawumia’s remarkable tenure as Vice President, Osei underscored his unparalleled visibility and instrumental role in the country’s governance.
One of the key factors the popular actor cited in favor of Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy was his pivotal role in spearheading Ghana’s digitalization agenda.
He added that the digitalization agenda has been a driving force behind initiatives aimed at digitizing various sectors, including identification systems and passport acquisition processes.
He also added that Dr. Bawumia has significantly improved the lives of Ghanaians by enhancing efficiency and accessibility to essential services.
During the interview, Osei emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s track record in championing digital innovation demonstrates his commitment to leveraging technology for the advancement of the nation.
He further disclosed his firm believe that entrusting Dr. Bawumia with the presidency would pave the way for even greater strides in digital transformation, ultimately benefiting all citizens.
