Ghana’s gospel music scene was struck with sorrow upon the passing of beloved musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, affectionately known as KODA, at the age of 46.
The news of his demise sent shockwaves through the industry, leaving fans and fellow musicians mourning the loss of a talented artist.

Beyond his musical success, KODA was revered as a devoted family man. Sadly, he leaves behind a grieving wife and three children.
Following his untimely demise, a one-week ceremony was organized in his honour as tradition demands.
The ceremony was held at ICGC Kings Temple in Takoradi.

It was also announced that his final funeral rite is scheduled to take place on the 5th of July, 2024, will be held at the KICC Accra Spintex Road, where friends, colleagues, and fans will come together to bid him a fond farewell.
Attendees are requested to wear all white as a symbol of purity, peace, and celebration of KODA’s life and contributions to the world of music.
