Talented Ghanaian musician, Akwaboah Jnr’s recent marriage ceremony brought about a huge social media uproar as many netizens who knew a little about his private life sort to expose him.
Some social media folks suggested that he had fathered children with multiple women and strangely, he supposedly dumped them to marry his new wife, who has been confirmed as a virgin.
Amid the speculations and social media backlash he has received, Akwaboah Jnr has finally come out to Subtly respond to his critics.
In an exclusive interview he granted Delay on Delay TV as he first public interview following his recent successful interview, he confirmed that indeed he has kids with two women prior to his marriage ceremony.
The “Forget” crooner disclosed that his decisions were not made lightly and were driven by specific circumstances.
Akwaboah added that he had a plan for his life and the plan most definitely did not include these two women who gave him the adorable kids he has with them.
He also stressed that some of the things that led to their fallout and eventual decision to go their separate was are not those he can talk about easily.
“In life, these things happen. We give ourselves some timelines or we expect certain things to happen but they don’t go as planned. But we still moved on. Growing up as a man, I wasn’t happy about having children with two separate women and leaving them to marry another. But situations happened and it’s something I cannot explain now,” he stated.
Asked why he broke the virginity of two women and decided to settle for a virgin, Akwaboah responded, “They were not virgins when I met them. For my wife, I didn’t go for her because she was a virgin. I didn’t even know until I told her I wanted to be with her.”
