Renowned Nigerian video director, Choppenson, has publicly accused Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale of failing to pay him for services rendered.
In a self-made video circulating on social media, Choppenson claimed that the self-proclaimed African dancehall king owes him $5,000.
Choppenson detailed his grievances, alleging that Shatta Wale initially booked him for a three-day project in Tamale.
Following the completion of the contract, Shatta Wale reportedly requested an extension of Choppenson’s stay to work on additional projects.
Given their long-standing professional relationship, during which Choppenson directed 13 music videos for Shatta Wale, he agreed to the extension.
However, after fulfilling his part of the extended agreement, Choppenson claims that Shatta Wale and his team have been avoiding him and have not settled the agreed payment.
According to Choppenson, Shatta Wale initially promised to pay him $15,000 but has not honored the $5,000 charge for the services provided.
