In the latest chapter of the fierce feud between Ghanaian stars Sista Afia and Efia Odo, the former has decided to release a diss track, “Industry Machine.”

She dropped the song on the night of Saturday, July 14, 2024, and it has already garnered substantial reactions from fans and critics alike.

The origins of their latest spat trace back to a fan post on X, which was previously called Twitter.

The fan in question shared a bikini photo of Sista Afia, which got people suggesting it was Efia Odo. This comparison did not sit well with Efia Odo, who quickly demanded respect, perceiving the comment as an insult. Sista Afia wasted no time in retaliating, branding Efia Odo as an “industry machine”—a term laden with innuendo about her alleged liaisons with multiple male artists.

However, the tensions escalated further on July 12, 2024, when a follower on Twitter asked Efia Odo about the likelihood of a physical confrontation between the two. Efia Odo’s cutting response, “Pretty girls don’t fight, it’s the ones who look like gorillas that fight. They don’t have any looks to protect,” accompanied by a provocative picture of a gorilla’s backside, reignited the animosity. Sista Afia responded vehemently, accusing Efia Odo of skin bleaching and falsely claiming ownership of a high-end restaurant in East Legon. Her scathing words, “You be manager for someone en Restaurant you dey claim e bi your own. It’s okay hunny brand yourself ahhh,” intensified the clash.

Efia Odo, not one to back down, hit back with a stinging retort: “You mad your keleweke joint broke down sis I’m a CEO and it ain’t nothing fake about that. Unlike your double BBL. Should’ve used that money to fix your face.” She concluded her post with a Bible quote from Romans 12:19, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord,” adding, “I’m too classy for this filth, I’m done. A lot of people mad I’m doing better than them. Twitter fingers ain’t for me, get in the booth!”

And get in the booth Sista Afia did. Her response came in the form of “Industry Machine,” a blistering diss track aimed squarely at Efia Odo.
