Ghanaian media personality and fashion influencer Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) has thrown his weight behind John Dramani Mahama as the next president of the Republic of Ghana.

In a speech at the launch of the campaign of the NDC at Tamale, KOD underscored the urgent need for change and extolled Mahama’s leadership and vision for the country, especially during these challenging times.

“We need that change that we’ve been yearning for. That’s why I stand here today to endorse his Excellency, John Dramani Mahama,” KOD proclaimed.

KOD reminisced about Mahama’s political journey, which began in 1996 when he first served the people of Bole Bamboi.

He lauded Mahama’s rise to the presidency and emphasized his capability to steer Ghana towards progress and prosperity. Highlighting Mahama’s comprehensive understanding of the nation’s needs, KOD asserted that Mahama possesses the qualities necessary to lead Ghana to the next level.

Of particular note were former Prez. Mahama’s youth-oriented policies, which KOD believes are crucial for the country’s future. He praised Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy and his ambitious plans to train one million Ghanaian youth in information technology. “Many of our young people are done with university and are staying at home doing nothing. We need that change,” KOD urged.

In his closing remarks, KOD called on the youth to support Mahama in the upcoming December 7 elections. His endorsement joins a chorus of growing support for Mahama as the nation braces for what promises to be a pivotal election.
