One thing Akwaboah is not ready to do now is to compose a song for political parties.
While some of his colleagues are composing songs for political parties in Ghana ahead of the 2024 elections, the popular musician won’t tow that lane.
He made this known when speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM.
The ‘Posti Me’ singer in the video sighted by Zionfelix.net clarified that though he won’t compose a song for political parties, he would accept to perform for them when contacted.
He explained that he doesn’t want to be tagged—but performing for any political party will be solely business.
Akwaboah further said he would rather compose a song for Ghana and a unity song.
If the song would be divisive and won’t help the country, the versatile Ghanaian musician stressed that he won’t do it.
