American-Ghanaian comedian Michael Blackson is unhappy about the turnout of events after investing in Ghana.
On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Blackson voiced out his frustrations through multiple posts on X.
He claimed Ghana had stolen the money he invested. According to him, other people are also victims of what he calls robbery.
Looking at the situation, the popular comedian said he would have to depend on funds from donors to keep the school free for underprivileged kids to benefit.
“Ghana 🇬🇭 stole the money I invested to keep my free school going so now I might have to do a go fund me smh,” he wrote.

“Ghana 🇬🇭 robbed me and a lot of other people that trusted them enough to invest in that country,” Blackson added in another post.
Explaining more about his issue, he said: “When I bought the euro bonds it was paying 10% interest which will pay for the school and then Ghana 🇬🇭 kidnapped the money to use to pay their debt. Almost 3 yrs later tells me oh we are sorry but we can only pay u 1.95% and we will hold your money for 15 yrs. Smh.”
Emphasising on needing his money back, Michael Blackson wrote: “Whoever the finance minister of Ghana 🇬🇭 is you need to call me, the money I was using to keep this school going you have kidnapped it. I need my money back.”
In 2023, Michael was applauded after he commissioned the Michael Blackson Academy in his hometown, Agona Nsaba in the Central Region.
