Adom FM presenter Michael Boateng, popularly known as Mike 2, has shared his thoughts following the backlash against Afia Pokua Piesie after her comments about Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
In a viral video, Pokua Piesie, appearing on Mona Gucci’s show on Onua TV, expressed dissatisfaction with the current ethnic tensions in the country. While discussing how some Asantes allegedly disrespect other tribes, she went too far and made a remark about the Asantehene, which many condemned.
She questioned whether the Asantehene was aware of the hate speech being made by some of his people. Her tone and delivery angered many, who criticized her for disrespecting the Asantehene.
Amid the heavy criticism, Afia Pokua Piesie issued an apology.

In response to her apology, Mike 2, in a post seen by Zionfelix.net, criticized Mona Gucci and her producers for their handling of the situation.
He said they failed to act professionally and should adhere to the ethics of journalism, particularly concerning legal issues.
Mike 2 further advised hosts and producers to improve their skills and not just follow trends.
He added that they should be able to manage and control panel members when discussions go off track.
