Akua Donkor, the founder and presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has announced her running mate.
Naming her running mate for the 2024 elections in Ghana, she settled on Ghanaian radio presenter, Kwabena Agyeman Appiah Kubi, well-known as Roman Fada.
Roman Fada works with Accra-based Atinka FM as the Drive Time Show host. He is also known as the manager of veteran Ghanaian musician—Daddy Lumba.
Earlier, Akua Donkor planned to name another media personality Adakabre Frimpong—but the plan changed due to Adakabre’s unavailability for the position.
However, her decision to choose Roman Fada is receiving reactions on social media.
Akua Donkor is yet to launch her manifesto and policies with just a few months to the December 7 election.
Despite this, the Free Senior High School and the fight against illegal mining (galamsey) are top priorities for her.
