Creative director and film producer, John Emeka Okpara, has shared his unhappiness after working with some Ghanaian actors.
He took to social media to share his frustration.
In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, the producer complained about Ghanaian actors failing to help promote a movie premiere after they have been paid.
Tagging Ghanaian filmmaker Peter Sedufia in his post, Emeka Okpara bemoaned he was being stressed by these Ghanaian actors.
He said the actors are hiding after collecting their money while they are needed to promote the upcoming premiere of the movie.
Due to this experience, the Nigerian film producer said he does not know who to cast in his next project.
Questioning how they would make back the money invested in the project, he concluded that it was sad.
Though he did not mention any Ghanaian actor’s name in his post, John Emeka Okpara’s latest movie featured Nadia Buari, Majid Michel, Michelle Mckinney Hammond, Yasirah Bhelz, Jessica Larney, Dela Seade and David Mensah.
Titled ‘I Was Here’, the movie will be premiered at the Accra Mall and West Hills Mall on October 18, 2024.
