Ghanaian broadcaster, MC and fashionista, Kofi Okyere Darko, well-known as KOD, has stated that a few people cannot be tagged as gays.

While some people assume and associate fashionistas with being gays, KOD countered this in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM which Zionfelix.net monitored.

He explained that gays can be found anywhere in communities.

KOD asserted that even in Ghana’s parliament if LGBT activities were to be legalized, someone could be identified as gay—but because it’s not legalized, he said the person or such people cannot come out publicly.

In radio, churches and other places, the popular media personality added gays can be found at these places.

However, KOD said fashion icons and musicians are known more—hence the tag but he won’t agree that they are the only group of people that gays can be found within.
