Popular Ghanaian TikTok content creator Jackline Mensah has finally broken her silence regarding allegations circulating on social media that she was impregnated and abandoned by award-winning movie producer and director Kofi Asamoah, also known as Kofas.

The rumor, which first surfaced on a TikTok page known as Think, quickly gained traction and was picked up by some blogs.

In her reaction, Jackline categorically denied the claims, stating, “There is no truth in this matter whatsoever.”

She explained that under normal circumstances, she would have ignored such rumors, but felt compelled to address them this time because of their potential to harm both her reputation and Kofi Asamoah’s personal relationships.

She expressed her concerns, stating, “This is not true at all, and it might destroy Kofi Asamoah’s relationship if he has one now. On my part, this false story could also hurt my chances if someone is probably thinking of dating me.”

Jackline further clarified that she does not even have Kofi Asamoah’s contact number, making a personal relationship between them impossible.

The award-winning content creator revealed that the only time they communicated was when Kofi Asamoah secured her a gig to shoot a commercial for Vodafone Ghana, now Telecel. The project, which included stars like Dr. Likee and Kalybos, was arranged through her manager.

The content creator urged the public to disregard the baseless rumor, emphasizing that such false narratives only serve to tarnish reputations and create unnecessary conflicts.
