Popular radio presenter Nana Romeo has issued a stern warning to entertainment pundit Sally Frimpong Mann, following what he describes as defamatory comments made against him during a live broadcast of “Power Entertainment” on Power FM on December 14, 2024.

Through his lawyers at Malsim Chambers, the Accra FM presenter has highlighted several statements made by Sally Mann that he claims are false and have caused significant damage to his reputation.

These include allegations that he was convicted of rape, descriptions of him as “weak-minded,” and insinuations tied to Psalm 26:4 that portrayed him as deceitful and hypocritical.

The letter from Malsim Chambers, signed by Samuel Kissiedu Esq., emphasized that these remarks are not only defamatory but also unlawful under Ghanaian law, falsely attributing criminal behavior to Nana Romeo.

The statements, according to the letter, have been widely circulated on social media platforms, compounding the damage to his personal and professional reputation.

Nana Romeo’s lawyers have issued the following demands to Sally Mann:

  1. A full and unequivocal retraction of the defamatory statements within 72 hours.
  2. A public apology to be broadcast on Power FM and published on all social media platforms where the comments have been shared.
  3. Immediate removal of all republished defamatory content from platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

The letter also implicates Power FM and its host Agyemang Prempeh for failing to intervene during the broadcast, as well as Clement Asamoah for amplifying the defamatory remarks on social media.

Nana Romeo warns that failure to meet these demands will result in legal action without further notice. He is determined to protect his reputation, which he has built as a respected media personality over several years.
