Renowned Ghanaian filmmaker Yaw SkyFace has expressed his frustration with artiste manager Bulldog over his controversial assertion that producing music videos in 2025 is no longer worthwhile.

During an interview with DJ Slim on Hitz FM on January 28, 2025, Yaw SkyFace strongly disagreed with Bulldog’s opinion.

He emphasizer that music videos are still important in 2025 as they aid in promoting artists.

The celebrated video producer and director also highlighted the existence of television stations dedicated solely to showcasing music videos and argued that these platforms play a crucial role in boosting the visibility and success of creatives.

He further explained that just because something may not have worked for one artist does not mean it will not work for others.

The filmmaker further underscored the role music videos play in shaping the image of artists, particularly emerging talents.

According to him, many artists gain respect and recognition due to the creativity and quality of their visuals, which help define their brands.
