Renowned Ghanaian business mogul Richard Nii-Armah Quaye touched down in Kumasi today, Friday, April 4, 2025, in grand style.

He arrived in his recently acquired private jet to extend his support to traders at Adum who recently lost their shops and goods to a devastating fire.

Upon his arrival at the Kumasi Airport, he was met by a host of prominent figures, including key political, traditional, and business leaders, who warmly welcomed him to the Ashanti Regional capital.

From the airport, Mr. Quaye proceeded to the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, where he paid a courtesy call on the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene.

Dr. Amoakohene then accompanied the respected businessman to the site of the tragic fire outbreak, where distraught traders have been struggling to recover from the heavy losses.

Addressing the affected shop owners, Dr. Amoakohene formally introduced Richard Nii-Armah Quaye and commended him for his generosity.

In his address to the traders, the founder of Bills Microcredit shared words of encouragement, urging them not to lose hope despite the unfortunate setback.

Also, it was announced that he would be donating GH¢500,000 to the victims of the fire to aid their recovery efforts.

The traders, overwhelmed with gratitude, expressed their appreciation.
