Akpene Diata Hoggar from the Brong-Ahafo Region who is a model, blogger, and entrepreneur came out tops as the winner of the 2018 edition of Miss Universe Ghana held yesterday at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The event witnessed a rich display of great brilliance and beauty by all the ten contestants who managed to pass the numerous tests and came to the finale to battle it out for the only ticket to represent Ghana at this year’s Miss Universe international pageant in December.
The “CCTV” hitmaker, King Promise, Adina alongside a host of other singers gave the contestants, judges, patrons, and viewers on Joy Prime the best tunes from their individual repertoires to spice up the night.

The event was organized by Maltz Promotions, which is led by Menaye Donkor, who is also a former winner of the competition and wife of the Ghanaian international footballer Sulley Muntari.
