In the wake of the many infightings among many Ghanaian on-screen actors and actress, fast-rising Ghanaian movie producer and director, Confidence Osu, has called for calm and peace among the key players in the movie industry. Addressing journalist at a press for his upcoming movie titled ‘Zoli’, Confidence stated that he has on numerous occasions heard that the Ghanaian movie industry is dead but he believes that it is not really true and that the people who say these things just say them to get attention.
Confidence also in his address urged actors and actresses to make sure they have a very united front to help push the big agenda of putting the Ghanaian movie industry on the international map. He further added many of the Ghanaian movie producers are doing great work but their work is not getting the needed international attention and appeal because there is a lack of unity among people in the industry.
“… Our main problem is the lack of unity among industry players that has played a major role in the dent of the image of the industry to the international world…” Confidence stated.

Confidence Osu’s movie ‘Zoli’ is set to be premiered on December 7 at the Global Cinema in Accra. The movie features a few top stars and some upcoming stars. He used the press conference to call on Ghanaians to make it a point to be at the premiere of the movie to get a feel of the great work they have done.
