After series of showings around the country, producers of ‘Keteke’ movie, OldFilm are planning on donating to charity.

To get money for the new project, the movie which has actors Adjetey Anang and Lydia Forson as lead cast will be premiered this Sunday, April 9 at Paloma Hotel in Accra. Producer of the movie, Peter Orgnah Sedufia speaking to Zionfelix.net about the decision to donate proceeds from the April 9 showing to charity stated “the reception for the film has been massive. People have shown us love and it is our time to return that love to the society, even as we continue our tours”.

“Keteke” movie was successfully premiered on March 4 at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra.

During the day of premiere, the film had three showings due to the many Ghanaians who plunged to the Accra Mall to watch it. Patrons who had the chance to enter the halls for any of the three showings gave positive comments about the film.

Most people who watched the movie lauded the producer cum director Peter Orgnah Sedufia for the creative work. Lead characters for the movie, Adjetey Annan and Lydia Forson also had their share of the well-done messages for perfectly executing their roles.

The movie features stars like Adjetey Anang, Lydia Forson, Fred Amugi, Joseph Otsiman, Clemento Suarez, Jeneral Ntatia, Raymond Sarfo and others.

KETEKE goes back into time to tell a story that would touch every aspect of Ghanaian society, relationships, traditions, and infrastructure by using humour and sarcasm.

Synopsis:

It’s the 80s rail service system, and the train is the only means of transport from the outskirts. A couple – BOI (Adjetey Anang) and ATSWEI (Lydia Forson) is bent on delivering their first baby in Akete but misses their first train. A wrong decision finds them in the middle of nowhere. Will they make it on time for the delivery, or, risk losing the baby and mother?”
