The fifth edition of the International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYes) was successfully launched yesterday, January 16, 2019, at a well attended private ceremony in one of the plush hotels in Accra. The launch of the conference also saw the launch of the iYes Foundation.
The event has over the years been organized under the fantastic leadership of UK-based Ghanaian pastor, Brian Amoateng. This year’s iYes conference will have as its ambassadors ten well to do individuals who have through one way or the other change the lives of people in the society or made some valuable impact in the society.
The 10 ambassadors the fifth edition of iYes as announced yesterday by Pastor Brain Amoateng are Emelia Brobbey, Delay, Funny Face, Bismark The Joke, Jackie Appiah, DJ switch, Ama K. Abebrese, Ceccy Twum, MOG, and SP Kofi Sarpong.

As part of plans by the iYes team to make the fifth edition a special one, the event which has over the years been only organized in Accra will see it travel to the Garden City of Ghana, Kumasi, for the first time. The Kumasi conference is slated for the 15th – 16th February 2019 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Pastor Amoateng and his ten ambassadors after the Kumasi conference will then return to Accra in August to climax this year’s conference in a very grand style as has been done over the years.
