Gospel minstrel, Diana Antwi Hamilton has called on the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards board to try and honor gospel music legends Elder Mireku, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, and Mary Ghansah at this year’s awards based on how effective they have been in the music industry over the years.

The UK based musician made this revelation when she had a quick chat with ‘Uncut Show’ host Zionfelix, yesterday, January 23, 2019, when she was at the Nungua Children’s Home to donate items.

According to her, even though the people she mentioned may still not be releasing albums, they are legends who have really worked tirelessly over the decades and should be really awarded by the board.

The ‘Mo Ne Yo’ hitmaker added that in as much as she only mentioned these three names, the board should also look deeper into the gospel music industry and give people who have worked really hard in the industry the honorary awards.

It should be noted that the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Honorary category is always given to people who the board consider have worked for the betterment of the Ghana music industry over the years. It is always by 100% board voting.
