The unpopular advice of taking to weed if struggling with academic work dished out by award-winning Hiplife artiste, Yaa Pono to students of the University of Ghana, Legon at the celebration of Pent Hall week over the weekend has landed him into some trouble with counselor Oscar Siripi.
According to him, the likes of the Uptown Energy boss have had the privilege to dish out this ‘rubbish’ of advice to the youth because Ghanaians like celebrating people with questionable behavior and lifestyle choices.
He also stressed in the interview zionfelix.net monitored on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz hosted by Sammy Forson that people in the society have been known to glorify the evil people do and condemn the good which is negatively affecting the mindset of many youths in the country who are watching.
The man of God ended his submission by urging Ghanaians to shift from celebrating people in the limelight who have nothing positive for young people and start celebrating people who would impact positively in the lives of the youth. He also asked parents to serve as proper role models to their children so that they don’t end up having questionable characters like Yaa Pono as role models.
