The organizers of the prestigious annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards earlier on Thursday morning announced that they have indefinitely banned Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, the two musicians who brought the name of their awards to shame on May 18, 2019.

Whereas the decision has been applauded by some people, popular entertainment pundit, Prince Nana Poku, popularly known as Ashes is one of the few who are not enthused at all.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s afternoon news, Ashes stated that Charterhouse has no right to strip their awards from them because it was their fans who voted for them.

He added that if the board has taken back their awards then they should return the hard earned monies Ghanaians used to vote for their artists because it will be the most prudent thing to do now.
