Celebrated broadcast journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, has revealed that her relevance in the media circles all these years is simply because she has time and again paid a lot of attention to reading and the content she brings to her listeners and viewers and not the beautiful face and slick voice she will have on whenever she goes live on either TV or radio.
Speaking with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s “Ayekoo Ayekoo” program on Friday, 21 June 2019, the News head at Excellence In Broadcasting Network (EIB) made the point that many of her other colleagues usually fail to recognize that it is crucial for them to be on top of their game with regards to the content they deliver to the people who watch and listen to them, as she does, for which reason she has been very relevant all these years.
She also stressed that many of them will stop reading entirely as soon as they gain some popularity in the media space which is very wrong. The award-winning winning media personality advised her colleagues who are on radio and TV to try and get further education for themselves because that is what will make them relevant for many years.
Nana Aba Anamoah caped it all with a special slice of advice for up and coming media persons, especially those who have a desire to be relevant in the news space. To them, she stated that they should never undermine the need to invest in themselves because that is what will take them very far in the profession they have chosen.
