Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Epixode has disclosed he contemplated pulling the brakes on his music career to fully concentrate on his other talent, painting.
Speaking in an interview Andy Dosty on Hitz FM which was monitored by zionfelix.net, Epixode real name Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, said the reason for this thought was his inability to get the desired favorable response from music lovers.
“I was looking at it from this perspective, putting in so much work but not getting the response you want”.
As to why he didn’t push through with the idea, he said his love for music was so strong and it overshadowed his initial thought.
Epixode is an amazing artiste who contested and won the second edition of the dancehall king contest in 2011.
He recently captured Jay Foley’s attention. Mr. Foley recently pledged his unflinching support for Epixode and all he stands for.
The future is uncertain however we can only hope Epixode doesn’t get into this dilemma ever again.
