Yesterday, December 12, was one of those sad days for many punters and a good day for the many betting companies around the world all because of one man.
After what started as one of those normal days on the social media app Twitter, with a lot of posts trolling Emelia Brobbey for releasing a ‘noisy’ song, it rather quickly became inundated with posts of appellations and appreciations to one young man who was the brain behind the thousands of cedis some Ghanaians won via betting on Tuesday and Wednesday.
With titles like Betting GOAT (Greatest of All Time), Betting god, and a host of others, the young man became an instant icon.
The funny thing, however, is that after he became popular and created a telegram group that had over 20,000 people joining the group for his odds, the actual ‘gods’ of betting decided to disappoint all punters who decided to stack the slip he posted in his groups.
The million-dollar question many have been asking after the slip failed has been, who at all is Oswald Osafo, the great punter?
Well, even though much we don’t know much about him, according to the little information zionfelix.net has gathered on his Twitter page, he is a young banker and a digital solutions architect.
He also states that he some rap in him and as such, he can be described as a budding rapper.
For what he wants to be in the near future, it is certainly not a full-time punter because he knows how dangerous betting can be but he wants to become a lawyer.
