A staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Socrate Safo has wondered why Rex Omar is a sympathizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He described the veteran musician’s choice of a political party as unfortunate when speaking on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review program which was monitored by zionfelix.net.
“Looking at the calibre of people who attracts to NPP and where Rex is now doesn’t fit. If you sit and brainstorm with him, you would know the qualities he possesses,” he stated.
Socrate Safo added that it is not late for Rex Omar to change his mind and switch camp.
He disclosed his readiness to support Rex Omar if he intends to do so.
